Asijský Leopard Cat - ALC
Since the ancient times have people been dreaming about a domestication of wild cats. Their fascination of a breath-taking beauty, self-confident temper which is a proof of the might and unconquerability of these elegant beasts. Although a man had been repeatedly trying to domesticate them he never had a full power over these wild cats. They have never been a trully staunch pets. Thewild cat will always stay to a certain extent unturnable and cranky.
BENGAL CAT IS DIFFERENT!
Bengal Cat is a controversy race. Even if it´s really fascinating that the part of a wild blood is up to 30% the character of this cat is fantastic. In the USA is just this cat one of the most popular ones. American and Russian nobility are surrounding themselves by these cute pets.
Optically is similar to a small African Leopard, Ocelot or a Tiger but dispite the fact of a wild look has this Beauty a very snuggling grain. With a loud purr she loves to be nanning by „her“ person. Bengals can amaze with their watchful character, their activity and uniquely quick motions. They are curious, very inteligent, trustful and active cats who likes a large space, love playing and they are not to get conform to a quiet environment. According to their inteligency they are able to recognize difficult chains of events. This fact makes easier to train up them so the man can teach them very quickly that the tables or other cartain places are simply taboo. Exotical „home tigers and leoprads“ are very nice to children. They are watchful observers and they behave exceedingly friendly. To „their persons“ are very snuggling and fondling. The lap of a shoulders of a loving person are very soon a popular places of Bengal Cats. Life together with other cats works without any problems because Bengal Cats don´t have a tendency to agressive behaviour. Bengals are unbelievebly fascinating by a water. Experts of this race sometimes makes their pets happy by bringing them a large bowl of water with floating ball or a leaf. With this toy can these mini-leoprads play for long hours.Bengal Cat is a race which came into being not a long time ago by interbreeding of wild (Assian Leopard Cat – ALC) and home, domestic cats. Doing credit to them was used a whole bunch of races. Above all EGYPTIAN MAU and ABYSSINIAN cat. First interbreeding of a Bengal Cat and a domestic Europian Black 
Tabby Cat was in the USA, state Arizona in 1965. This generation is called F1. These cats always had a fantasticly wild drawing but animals were very shy and males were infertile. Generation F1 cats are still coupling with European male cats and there is comming a new generation F2. Then cats from the generation F2 are coupling with Bengal Cat Males or with European ones so there is a birth of a generation F3. Az the cat males F2 and F3 is notation of infertility so the other rise is leaded mostly by an offspring of cat females. Animals of a generation F1 to F3 are registered at the race book however they can not to be exhibited. Not untill animals of a next generation F4 are officially approved. The pedigrees are making for them and they can participate exibitions without any limits. It is interesting that individuals of the generation F2 and F3 can already have a very nice character. In the Czech Republic is this race officially admitting since 1999.
Bengal Cat has got a long enough, muscular and well-grew up body with heavy bones. Back legs are a little bit longer then front ones and their paws are relativly big and round. Their tail is a middle length, pretty stout to touch, rounded end which is always coloured in black. The head is small according to its body and it is a little bit loger then wider. Kind of small ears are aimed to the front, widely put on and they mustn´t have any bristles. The nose is lohg and wide with a slide deflection at the front part of the skull. Eyes are large, almond´s up to round shape. Expressive pads of touching hair are very desirable. Remarkable thich hair are short to midlle length, smoothly suit and it is extraordinary soft and flossy.
Drawings:
Spotted – spots must clerly contrast to a color of base. Hair should always show spots on the belly, there suppose to be a clear „M“ on the forehead and circles arround the tail.
In these days the most cultivated drawing of a „rosette“ is very desirable. The rosette is double-coloured open speckle with a clear contrast edge.
Marble – the drawing is in its basic traits comparable with a marble design. For example oriental cats but instead of circle patterns must be oppostely extended to the length. On the belly are also small round spots. The clear contrast and perfect drawing is desirable.
